Brendan Case’s Vitae

 Brendan studied systematic and historical theology in Duke Divinity School’s Doctor of Theology program, and has published essays in journals including Modern TheologyNew Blackfriars, and Pro Ecclesia. His dissertation treated the metaphysics of creation in St. Bonaventure and Bishop Berkeley, and he is currently completing a monograph on the thirteenth-century debate over “universal hylomorphism.” His research agenda at ISR is focused on theological and philosophical questions regarding the nature and scope of “accountability” in human life.
