Colene Coldwell is Senior Lecturer in the Finance, Insurance & Real Estate department of the Hankamer School of Business.  She led the Baylor Social Entrepreneurship in Africa program, a 16 day summer study abroad program where students visited Kenya, Rwanda or Ghana.  The content of the program examines the use of entrepreneurial skills to craft innovative responses to social problems in Africa.   In particular, the ability of microlending practices to stimulate economic activity and alleviate poverty will be studied. Her husband, Kendall Artz is the Chair of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship and is Director of the Baylor Entrepreneurship Program
