λόγος at Baylor

A Summer Institute for students interested in textual scholarship and Christian apologetics.

June 10-16, 2012

Hosted by Baylor University

and funded by the Green Scholars Initiative


Student Application:

This is a 3-stage application process. All three parts must be submitted in order for an application to be considered:


1/ Please complete and submit the online application form on this site.

2/ Please send an e-mail to with the subject heading “student application to LOGOS at Baylor” and containing the following:

i)   your full name

ii)  a brief description of the GSI* project you have been working on (or intend to work on), your own role in it, and your team’s expected date of project completion.

iii) A statement of academic purpose, specifying the relation of λόγος at Baylor to your current sense of academic direction.(This should be no longer than 1 side of A4 or letter size paper, if written in Times 12 point font)

 3/ Please provide two letters of reference, one of which should be from your GSI Scholar Mentor*. These can be scanned and e-mailed or e-mailed directly, but they must be sent by the Scholar Mentor*. These should be addressed to with the subject line “application to LOGOS at Baylor references for (name of student)”.


 Please note that all three parts of the application must be received

no later than 12pm CST on March 1st, 2012
