Fiona Bond comes to Baylor from St Andrews, Scotland, where she has been working as an independent consultant to the charity sector, advising non-profit organizations on strategic planning, funding strategy, project development, feasibility and compliance with charity law. She also helped establish a national professional services network for Third Sector organizations and was a non-executive Director for a number of charitable organizations as well as being an Adviser to the Media and Theology Project at Edinburgh University, Theology Through the Arts at the University of Cambridge and The James Gregory lectures in Science and Religion at the University of St Andrews.
A theology graduate from St John’s College, Durham University, Fiona comes from a background of Managing arts organizations, arts festivals and University Projects. She was Director of Durham and Lancaster Literature Festivals and was part of the Management team at Kettle’s Yard (The University of Cambridge modern art gallery) and Dundee Contemporary Arts. She also worked for her Alma Mater to secure European funding for its Capital Development Program.
Fiona has been involved with a range of arts, university and local government initiatives that successfully engaged the political, cultural, business and academic communities for mutual benefit. She is particularly intrigued by the role of culture, creativity and faith in economic and social regeneration and is author of ‘The Arts in Your Church’ (Piquant, 1999).
