The World Needs Baylor-Baylor Professor and Director for the Institute for Studies of Religion Dr. Byron Johnson offered one of the most profound takeaways from the Give Light celebration in Washington, DC.

The world needs Baylor.
Baylor Professor and Director for the Institute for Studies of Religion Dr. Byron Johnson offered one of the most profound takeaways from the Give Light celebration in Washington, DC. In a world filled with great universities, it’s Baylor University that fills a gap that few others can.
Give Light: The Campaign for Baylor seeks to undergird the strategic plan of the University through a $1.1 billion effort focused on building scholarships, expanding faculty positions, strengthening key programs and providing the necessary physical spaces for transformational education to occur. These elements come together to build a stronger Baylor.
We hope you will consider how you can deepen your engagement with and commitment to Baylor and her students. We are inviting our Washington, DC area alumni, parents and friends to consider supporting Baylor through a campaign gift to the Washington, DC Initiative Fund, which supports Baylor’s reach and efforts in your local community.
Join others in building the best Baylor possible.
